Longest Day of the Year

The longest day of the year in the UK is on or around June 21st.

The Longest Day of the year is known as the Summer Solstice and is the day that the sun is in the sky the longest giving the most amount of daylight between when the sun rises and the sunset.

It represents the start of Summer time.

This day relates to the Shortest Day of the Year.
