Advent 2009

Advent 2009 starts on Tuesday 1st December 2009.
Advent is the 1st of December and is used to count down the days until Christmas Day.
Quite often the days of Advent are marked off with an Advent calendar or an Advent candle.

Although Black Friday is essentially a day when the Christmas Shopping spree starts in the USA some retailers over in the UK also take part by offering discounts over here too.

Boxing Day 2009 is on Saturday 26th December.
However as Boxing Day 2009 is on a weekend day (Saturday) the bank holiday for the day will be carried back to the Monday 28th December 2009.

Valentines Day 2010

Valentines Day 2010 is on Sunday 14th February.
On Valentines Day 2010 the usual tradition as with St Valentines Day is to show your love for each other, quite often Valentines Day flowers (usually Red Roses) are sent to females and the day is a special day for couples.
